Baruch College, MakerHub

The MakerHub is Baruch’s resident makerspace for technology, design, and entrepreneurship. MakerHub is a program of the Lawrence N. Field Center for Entrepreneurship and supported by the Baruch Student Technology Fees.

In a semester-long contract for Fall 2024, Rose partnered with the MakerHub at Baruch College to create educational content and materials around basics of UX/UI Design and Graphic Design.

Over the course of this engagement, Rose also hosted 7 educational workshops both in-person and virtual on design topics such as UX/UI Design, Prototyping, and Logo Design.

The final deliverable of this project was a Notion Site with educational content and curriculum curated to introduce students to UX/UI Design and Graphic Design.
The content from this site is currently being transitioned and archived on the MakerHub Website.

Educational Content

Through this engagement Rose designed educational content around UX/UI Design and Graphic Design for students. Rose created her own content such as videos, visuals and presentation decks, and also brought in existing learning materials and case studies to support the curriculum.

The final content was delivered through a Notion Site in organized pages and flows. The content of this site has now been transferred onto Baruch's MakerHub website as learning modules for all students to access.

Youtube Channel
